9/3/2013: Another month and still missing some of out members.  Come on people, let’s see if we can have one meeting with everyone there. We need everyone’s input on out projects.

MEMBERS SHOW: Clara miller volunteered to talk with Caroline Redfern to see what our dates are for the show. Once the dates are set, we will get flyers made and distributed. We will also get the information to the Evening Times.

SUGARPLUM MARKET: We have a date! December 6th at the Holiday Plaza Mall. Get started on your items to sell if you haven’t already. Don’t forget that we have the ‘Paint Along’ once a month at Clara’s Studio in Marion. This time was created so we would have a place for all of us to meet and work on our craft/paintings for the sale. The money we make from this sale is what makes it possible to have our ‘Members Show’ every year and pay for workshops, etc. for the DAS, not for personal profit.

IRENE RODKIN: Thank you, Irene for bringing your DVD about paintings at the Louvre and how the museum was created. Hopefully we will get a chance in the future to view the next section and learn more about the artist and their paintings that are hanging there.

CLARA MILLER & SHERRY LOVELADY: Thanks for bringing the refreshments. Sherry just went all artistic on us and made cookies that looked like an artist palette! Pretty and tasty.
