We Lost A Member

Bonnie Thweatt, 82, of West Memphis, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. She was born to the late John and Lena Pruett of Rector, Arkansas. She grew up in Fort Pickering in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from Southside High School. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, and mother. She was also a member of the Delta Artist Society of West Memphis and former member of the Art Guild in Mountain View. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years and 9 months, Elroy Thweatt; and her brother Harold Moore of Wenatchee, Washington. She is survived by her two sons, Rodney Thweatt of West Memphis and Dana Thweatt of Payneway; two daughters, Rhonda Medley of Marion and Debbi Eubanks (Ricky) of Proctor; nine grandchildren, Matt Thweatt, Jesse Thweatt, Josh Thweatt, Brett Holland, Gavin Thweatt, Tia Williams, Hillary Roark, Pennie Medley, Erica Pitts; and 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way; she also leaves a great number of nieces and nephews who she loved and cared for as her own. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to the American Diabetes Association. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Services will be on Thursday, at 2 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home.
