What's up lately at the DAS?
Well, we had an awesome sale at the Sugarplum Market in December.
Ideas were flying around at the meeting last night.
Suggestions ranged from Painting/Art classes to glass slumping classes :open to both members and the public to bring in revenue and our names out there.
We are all excited about this 2015 year.
When it gets some warmer we plan on repainting the mural on Amazing Grace 2 to look like the Sultana. We should have it ready for the convention that is coming.
More shows and other opportunities are in the works.
Our meetings art class was 3d drawing.
You may have seen it on Pintrest where you make a 3d hand come out of notebook paper. Well we did it last night also.
Of course I did my 3d hand different (at least the second one) with shading.
