Sandy read the minutes which is the normal for the formal meeting.
Most of the members brought there houses. Those of us that didn’t are to bring them to the hanging for the Members’ Show Friday.
OLD BIZ-
Some of the ribbons that are going to be given at the Member’s Show is going to be from the Regional show. Don’t be upset for at least it is a ribbon. Judging for the Members’ Show will be Saturday.
Reception for the Member’s Show will be Sunday Oct 17th.
As stated in the last meeting Clara was going to move the DAS from Regions to Evolve but because of regulations she decided to keep the money in Regions. She is looking into how we can be an organization with tax states.
NEW BIZ-
We are going to give a plaque to Evolve Bank for being our sponsor of our Members’ Show.
Bonnie suggested that we should make care shoeboxes for 8 Street Mission. Bring the wrapped shoeboxes to the Christmas Party December 7th.
Christmas at Lidia’s and bring your homemade ornaments.
Clara suggested that we should show in the Holiday Mall in the vacant businesses. She was just showing for free in the windows and it soon evolved into maybe a possible gallery.
It is something that Clara and Helen are looking into.
